A well-taken second-half strike from Angel Gomes secured a 2-1 win for Manchester United over fellow Premier League side Tottenham in Shanghai.
Gomes, who is the godson of former Red Devil Nani, linked up well with Juan Mata before slotting the ball past Paolo Gazzaniga from a tight angle.
Earlier, Anthony Martial gave United the lead after latching onto Andreas Pereira's pass but Lucas Moura's deflected effort in the second-half made it 1-1.
But Gomes was the difference and the result continues a perfect run in four pre-season matches for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men while Spurs have won one of their two pre-season games so far.
