EPL: Manchester Utd gives condition to sell Pogba

Manchester United has given a condition to sell midfielder, Paul Pogba, in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Red Devils will only sell Pogba if he confirms he wants to leave the club in January, ESPN reports.

The report added that Man United expects Pogba to remain with the club beyond January and will not consider any offers to sign the former Juventus star in the summer unless the player himself states an intention to leave at the end of his contract.

Pogba's current contract at Manchester United will expire at the end of the season.

The Frenchman is free to discuss terms with clubs outside the Premier League in January.

Pogba is believed to be still deciding his future at Old Trafford and has not ruled out signing a new deal at Man United.

The 28-year-old is currently in Dubai where he is recovering from a thigh injury he sustained during the November international break and he is expected to return to action for Man United in January.

Pogba is yet to play a single minute of football under Man United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick, who recently stated he is only interested in players who want to play for the club.

"I wouldn't say he [Pogba] is not worth keeping, but players need to want to stay and play for the club," Rangnick said.
