EPL: I hope we have changed the page this time - Ronaldo reacts to 3-0 win over Spurs

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo is optimistic they have turned the corner following a 3-0 win at Tottenham on Saturday.

The victory came on the back of a 5-0 demolition in the hands of Liverpool last weekend, a result that heaped more pressure on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Against Spurs, Ronaldo opened the scoring with a sensational volley before setting up Edinson Cavani for the second goal.

Marcus Rashford grabbed the third goal to seal an emphatic win.

"We didn't expect the last two results in the Premier League. But I hope this time we have changed the page," Ronaldo told Sky Sports.

United face Atalanta in the Champions League game on Tuesday, before hosting Manchester City on Saturday.

Ronaldo, however, indicated the manager was not the only man under scrutiny.

'Everyone knows his role in the team, it's not only the coach that many point out [for criticism], it's the players as well.

'I believe that something happened for a reason and we have to be happy for this amazing afternoon, we win 3-0 in an away stadium against a difficult team and we are so pleased for that and happy," he added.

Ronaldo has scored four times in seven Premier League fixtures and seven goals in 10 appearances in all competitions.
