Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid all interested in Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has attracted the interest of some of the biggest clubs in the world, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid all considering moves for him.

The 24-year-old had an impressive season with the Toffees, confirming his place as the focal point of their attack and scoring 21 goals in all competitions.

His tally of 16 Premier League goals was only bettered by Harry Kane, Mo Salah, Bruno Fernandes, Son Heung-min and Patrick Bamford, as he beat his previous best return of 13 in the previous campaign.

Unsurprisingly his goal-scoring efforts have seen bigger clubs keep an eye on the England international and the Sun reports that Manchester United are joined by Arsenal and Real Madrid in putting Calvert-Lewin on their wish list.

The Toffees may find it harder to keep hold of their stars now Carlo Ancelotti has left his post as manager and the excitement around that club that the Italian brought has died down somewhat.

They will find it especially tricky if Ancelotti tries to sign Everton stars for Real Madrid, where he has returned as manager, and he is reportedly keen to take Calvert-Lewin to the Bernabeu with a bid of around £50m.

Given the striker has a contract at Everton until 2025 and how valuable he is to the Toffees, it seems unlikely that any club would be able to sign him for as little as £50m.

However, the Red Devils and the Gunners are contemplating a big-money move for him as they both look for long-term options at centre-forward.

United legend Rio Ferdinand has backed his former side to move for Calvert-Lewin, believing he is a perfect option as a central striker.

'Listen Dominic Calvert-Lewin for me I love him,' said Ferdinand.

'I've watched a lot of Everton this year and he's one that unnerves defenders. He's not one you want to play against week in, week out. He's aggressive, he attacks the ball.

'I think he'd be a fantastic signing for Manchester United. It's one out of left field a little bit but I think he'd have a big impact.'
