Man United name 3 flops they will sell to fund Jadon Sancho, others deals this summer

Alexis Sanchez tops the list of players Manchester United are planning reportedly to offload in a bid to bring quality stars to Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also want Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling have also been marked for exit at the club.

Metro UK reports the Norwegian tactician has not included the trio in his plans for next season and will be looking to axe them permanently.

The three are currently away on loan, with Sanchez and Smalling shipped to the Serie A last summer.

On his part, Rojo joined boyhood club Estudiantes on loan during the January window and seems likely to seal a permanent move.

The United players were shown the exit door as they were deemed surplus requirements at Old Trafford.

But with the global outbreak of coronavirus taking a huge toll on clubs financially, Evening Standard contends it is unlikely the Red Devils will fetch a substantial fee for the players.

Among the three, it is Sanchez who could miss a potential buyer, with Inter Milan where he is currently on loan unwilling to match his massive £450,000-a-week wages.

Smalling, on the other hand, will not be short of potential suitors having shown glimpses of progress with Roma this season.

Daughter of Super Eagles legend graduates from prestigious international school in Finland English sides Everton and Arsenal are among the leading clubs said to be gunning for the signature of the English defender.

Sale of the three players is expected to raise funds for new summer arrivals at Old Trafford, with Solskjaer keen to revamp his squad.

Key among the players Solskjaer wants is Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho who has been in fine shape for the Bundesliga side.

Birmingham wonder-kid Jude Bellingham and Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish are also understood to be on United's radar.
