Chelsea could be forced to sell top player and it is not Hazard

N'Golo Kante could be snapped by Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain as reports claim the French side are willing to hand him an open cheque.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has played the France international outside his favourite defensive midfield position into a more deeper role going forward.

The 27-year-old lifted the World Cup and consecutive Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea by sitting in front of the defence.

But Sarri has been unable to get the same impact from the Frenchman in his current midfield set up, with new signing Jorginho, sitting in Kante's preferred role.

The World Cup winner penned a new five-year deal worth a staggering £290,000-a-week in November.

And according to French news media outfit Le10 Sport, Kante's whopping weekly wages will not hinder PSG from luring him back to his native country.

It is understood that the relationship between Blues manager and the player is fragile with the French champions increasingly hopeful that a deal can be struck.
