Liverpool legend explains why Man United star Pogba is the most undisciplined player of all time

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has called Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba "the most undisciplined player of all time".

Carragher and ex-Red Devils' star Gary Neville were selecting their combined Liverpool-United XI ahead of their crunch fixture at Anfield this weekend on a TV program.

Neville mentioned Pogba to be his preferred choice at the base of the midfield alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Naby Keita.

But Carragher reacted immediately the Frenchman's name was mentioned and said:
"Holding what? He's the most undisciplined player of all time!"

The former England defender then buried his head in his hands as Neville tried to back his choice of picking Pogba.

"I didn't pick him with much conviction to be honest with you," Neville said. "I was clutching at straws. Matic. Jordan Henderson and James Milner, they're in and out of that midfield in terms of playing.

"I wasn't convinced by anything just through what's been happening. I just thought it's an opportunity for me to put a United player in to be honest!"

Both stars agreed to a 4-3-3 formations, picking David De Gea in goal, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson in defence, Keita in midfield and Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino up front in their teams.

Apart from the Pogba debate, Neville also created room for Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial in the team, while Carragher instead went for Nemanja Matic, Dejan Lovren and Sadio Mane.

Liverpool and Manchester United will come face to face at Anfield as a win for the Reds will maintain their lead at the top ahead of Manchester City.
