5 top European teams yet to lose any of their domestic leagues games this season

With the 2018-19 league season getting closer to the mid-season break, most teams have achieved mixed results.

Some teams are already battling relegation, while a couple of managers have been shown the exit doors for their non performance on the log.

However, these 5 teams are yet to taste defeat in their domestic leagues as we highlight some top teams which might be strong contenders for the title at the end of this season.

1. Liverpool

The Reds have been touted as title contenders this season following an impressive campaign last year which has also transcended into this season.

They signed a couple of players in the summer to address their re-occurring defensive issues of the past.

However, they have nine matches and drawn three but yet to taste defeat in the English Premier League this term unlike in other competitions.

2. Manchester City

The scary thing for Liverpool is that Manchester City may be taking things to an even higher level this season.

Pep Guardiola's men have been irresistible in attack but their miserly defence has resulted in a phenomenal goal difference already.

Their star man, Kevin de Bruyne, has been injured for most of the season but they've hardly missed him as they top the league standings.

3. Borussia Dortmund

The Germans have been rejuvenated and are flying high in the Bundesliga.

They currently sit atop of the Bundesliga table with 27 points from 11 games - seven points better than current champions Bayern Munich.

However, their form in the league positions them as favourites to clinch the title this season.

Paco Alcacer has been a revelation for the yellow submarine, scoring 9 from 8 matches.

4. Chelsea

The Blues are not only unbeaten in the league but are the only team unbeaten in all competitions within Europe's top 5 leagues.

Mauricio Sarri has worked wonders at Stamford Bridge and the form of Eden Hazard has been crucial to their success.

However, their unbeaten record comes under serious threat this weekend as they face Tottenham Hotspurs.

5. Juventus

Arguably, the least surprising name on this list. The Old Lady have dominated Serie A for the last few seasons and this year seems no different.

They've strengthened with Cristiano Ronaldo adding more firepower to their attack. Eleven wins from 12, with 1 draw is a sign of their impressive league form.
