Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has praised former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson for the role he played in his successful football career.
Ronaldo who was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United before the start of the 2003/04 season posted a photo on social media where he thanked his ex boss.
He met Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford after helping his new team Juventus record a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Champions League.
''A great coach and above all a wonderful man. Taught me so many things inside and outside the pitch. Great to see you in good shape, Boss!,''
Ronaldo explained.
Ronaldo spent six years of his football career under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford before moving to Real Madrid in 2009 in a then world transfer fee.
He currently plays for Juventus in the Italian Serie A, and the 33-year-old has been superb since he joined the Old Lady from Los Blancos.
