Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has dropped another huge hint he could make a sensational return to Stamford Bridge this summer by following a number of Chelsea players on Twitter.

The Belgian admitted today that he was in talks with one specific club and would announce his destination in the near future.

The 23-year-old left Chelsea in 2014 for Goodison Park but he also has the option of joining Manchester United, who have increased their interest since cooling a move for Antoine Griezmann.

However, it would appear the Blues have the upper hand in the race to sign Lukaku after the striker followed three Chelsea players on Twitter today.

Though by no means certified proof of a move, the modern transfer is conducted more and more these days on social media.

Lukaku followed Gary Cahill, Lewis Baker and N'Golo Kante in what could be a hint that he's returning to west London.

Everton value Lukaku at around £100m and are in a strong negotiating position given Lukaku's contract runs until 2019.

Chelsea, though, believe they can talk the Toffees down from a world record deal and believe they can acquire the forward for closer to £80m.
